Janet Murray

In “Inventing the medium” by Murray, we got a glimpse into her opinions on why media has involved the way it has. Reading her work solidifies this concept that it was inevitable for a society addicted to information to continue to create new ways to access it. As Murray puts it “The solution lies in building something, in making something new that will better serve human need.” (pg. 4). From the book we get e-readers and audio books, from a letter we get email, so on and so forth. Our desire to constantly move forward has been and always will be inevitable.
