How to use images in projects avoiding plagiarism

Using pictures in a school project might be a requirement, or you might just want to utilize them to strengthen an assignment. Either way it’s important to use pictures that won’t result in you plagiarizing. A few easy steps and a wide array of free images which are made to be reused will be at your fingertips. The first step is to go to Google Images and search for topic you would like to use, after searching click on tools then “usage rights”, select labeled for reuse with modification. I picked an image from Wikimedia Commons; this site provides ample information allowing for images to be cited properly without the risk of plagiarism. You can simply save the image to your desktop and use it as you please. Wikimedia Commons also provides a fool proof explanation on using images under the “Information about reusing” tab, so when in doubt check that tab out for any questions.
